Jogging for a Flat Stomach & Good Health - Ed Yourdon
Everyone desires to have a flat stomach or at least a flatter one. It’s just not appealing to have a stomach hanging over your clothes. Most exercises require that you get on the floor and perform sit-ups or crunches to strengthen your stomach muscles. However, not everyone likes to do sit-ups and crunches and when you do not like the exercise that you are doing, you won’t exercise and, hence, will receive no results at all.
Lose Stomach Fat With Consistent Exercise
If you desire to have a flatter stomach, but you loathe sit-ups and crunches, there are other exercises that you can do to work toward obtaining your flat stomach. However, you will have to be consistent just as with doing sit-ups or crunches to reach your flat-stomach goal. Therefore, the first thing that you will need to do is make up in your mind that you will commit to performing these exercises daily.
According to Dr. Edward R. Laskowski, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at MayoClinic and the writer of the article “Can Girdles Tighten Abdominal Muscles,” eating healthy and performing aerobic exercises can, also, help you to lose stomach fat.
Aerobic Exercise and Your Health
Aerobic exercise is a low in intensity, extended activity and it conditions your heart and lungs as it increases your oxygen level allowing your heart to make use of oxygen more resourcefully. It can, also, help you lose your stomach fat which is essential to good health. However, prior to starting an exercise regimen, you should make a visit to your doctor to make sure that you are in good health so that your exercise plan will be an even greater benefit to your health.
Therefore, if you experience any intolerable pain while you are exercising, you should stop exercising immediately and see your doctor.
Aerobic Weight Loss Methods
There are several types of aerobic exercises that you can choose from including swimming, jogging, walking, biking, a variety of aerobic classes and even cross-country skiing. Any of these aerobic exercises with good eating habits can help you to get rid of your excess stomach and if you need to lose a few pounds, elsewhere, you will accomplish this too.
Keep in mind that you must have a made up mind to accomplish your weight-loss goals, but if you, absolutely, need help becoming motivated or staying motivated to exercise, ask a friend or two to exercise with you. Having someone to walk with or jog with will, oftentimes, give you that extra boost to become motivated and to stay with your exercise routine.
