Eat Coconuts For a Metabolism that Burns. - C.Dagnelli
Of course we would much rather eat our way slim than take pills or spend hours a day exercising. This may seem like a myth, but it is a reality. You can eat your way slim by changing some foods in your diet. Certain foods affect your metabolism more significantly than others. One is peppers which are rich in capsaicin and they increase your burn rate by 20 percent for 30 minutes after consuming.
Foods Which Help You Eat Your Way Slim.Foods which are higher in fiber and water content also help you feel fuller when you eat them. Add to your diet foods such as grapefruit, broccoli, and carrots to help keep feeling fuller longer, and to keep your metabolism humming.
Cabbages such as kale are also full of fiber, vitamins and minerals and are very low in calories so you can eat more and add other foods and flavors to them for variety.
Lean protein from fish, poultry, coconuts and tofu also keep you satiated, and protein is necessary to keep your muscles intact.
According to the Journal of Nutrition a diet highin MUFA foods improves glycemiccontrol which is a known way to eat yourself slim. MUFA foods-which are monounsaturated fatty acids include; olives, avocados, and various nuts. They should be eaten in place of other foods to be effective. Switch from corn or vegetable oil to canola or olive oil. This helps lowers triglycerides because now the fat content is not from saturated or animal fats. MUFA foods help control insulin levels. High insulin levels usually lead to being overweight.
How Consuming Certain Foods Help You Eat Your Way Slim.
Drinking water also helps you eat your way slim because your body has to heat the water to metabolize it. Water has zero calories, simply drinking more of it will give negative calories from the water. It also helps cleanse your system, and helps you more full.
This is one of the reasons celery has become known as a diet food because of its high water count and low calories. It takes more calories to consume and metabolize the celery than are in the vegetable.
Popular Diet Misconceptions.
Many people believe skipping meals will help them become more slim, and cutting out meals or food is how to lose weight. Not everyone who is over weight is so because they eat too much, sometimes its because they eat too little. Skipping meals sends the body into starvation mode. The body is flooded with insulin to keep blood sugar levels high, and your metabolism slows down and stores fat, so everything you then eat later is now in fat storing mode.
Use an energy calculator on-line to help calculate the amount of calories you need so you do not put your body into starvation mode. A good rule of thumb is to eat this many, this way all of the extra things you do and additional exercise will give you a deficit. Of course if you are extremely active and are exercising vigorously yielding more than 500 additional calories, you will have to add some food to refuel yourself.
